White Girls Don't Like Hip Hop (or so I've been told)

Yesterday, while walking through the concourse on campus I was handed a promotional flyer for a concert. This often happens when walking through the concourse, and I glanced at it, as I always do before inevitably throwing it away, and discovered that it was an advertisement for a "blackmarket release party".
I barely had enough time to smile before a second guy said to the one that handed me the flyer, "Aw dude, you have to be selective. She's just going to throw that out."

What, do I not strike people as the wanna-be-black, hip hop/rap listening, bling wearing, gangsta loving girl? I just about died laughing.
